This
booklet contains the General Playing Rules, Regulations and Conduct
Code for all Program Leagues. Individual leagues receive
annually a supplement that deals with their specific league's game
format. The following are a synthesis drawn from the Official
Rules, Regulations and Conduct Codes of the following: The
National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA); U.S. Flag Football
League; U.S. Flag and Touch Football League; American Flag Football
Association; American Flag and Touch Football Association; and, The
Athletic Institute as prepared by the National Flag and Touch Football
Committee and Officially Sanctioned by the NCAA. The Program
acknowledges both the substance and theoretical assistance it derived
from the documents of the above organizations.
These general playing rules are
not
complete but detail only those items that apply in general to Program
leagues. Appropriate NCAA Rules remain applicable in all
Program leagues even if not detailed hereafter. The Program
also reserves the right to delete, alter, or add changes in any
document as needed.
